Some cards strike fear into the heart of people who settle into a comfortable chair for a Tarot reading. As the reading proceeds, Death, The Devil, or the Tower appear – images that scream “Look out! Disaster! Trouble!”  The images are dramatic and it’s easy to see why these cards can be seen as portents of some evil or negative event about to cast a long shadow onto their lives.

“In this class, I take us on a journey into the deeper meanings of these misunderstood cards, piercing the dark veil that hides the root cause of the fears they trigger,” says Cynthia. “And most importantly, I provide you with a range of  ways to help you and your client navigate the energies depicted in these cards so that the full range of possible interpretations emerge. Handouts for the class include six layouts you can use in conjunction with the ‘scary’ cards. I demonstrate one of these spreads in the class. “

“I teach mostly from the Waite-Smith deck, but also from the HOOM deck which is only available in a colour yourself black and white deck, but the images I’m using have been digitally coloured, by the Holy Order of MANS who developed and taught them and shared them with me,” says Cynthia.

About the presenter

Cynthia Ray is a mystic, Reiki master, sound healer and intuitive Tarot reader who has studied and taught the mystical path of Tarot for over 15 years.  She brings wisdom from various traditions together, and from her own meditations, to open windows of understanding into the cards.
